Latex Foam Mattress

There has been a significant rise in the popularity of latex toppers and latex foam mattresses because of an increased desire among people to find better surfaces to sleep on, without annoying inner-spring coils. Latex has properties that take pressure off of certain points of the body and distribute weight more evenly, in addition to other benefits. Latex is a naturally sustainable resource which is gathered from rubber trees which is mold proof, microbe proof and also keeps away dust mites and mildew. Because latex can endure so much use, many warranties for latex mattresses can last almost 20 years.

Mattresses are always designed to be able to effectively carry and distribute your body's weight and to relieve any sensitive pressure areas. When we get older, our bodies are increasingly sensitive to certain pressure points, so once you're over the age of 50, the Better Sleep Council suggests changing your mattress even more often than usual. Even by conducting a quick survey of all available mattresses, you'll see that all of them approach the idea of weight support and pressure relief slightly differently.

You might just need a conforming, softer layer within your mattress if you find yourself suffering from numbness in your extremities. The mattress' core, which is constructed of a variety of foams or coil inner-springs, is usually created in such a way to support your body and make sure that your spine is properly aligned while you are reclining. It's not true that a bad back can be fixed by sleeping on an overly firm mattress, because the alignment of your spine is not aided by this. What you should consider, however, is your body's weight, the position you take when you are sleeping, and what the core of your mattress can do to aid you with these concerns while aligning your spine properly. Usually, 2 to 3 inches of a soft, topper layer is laid over the top of the mattress' core and makes up a layer that can fit your body's shape. A topper made of natural latex is often regarded as the best topper for this purpose.

There are very effective solutions for pain and discomfort while sleeping, so there's no reason that you should endure an uncomfortable mattress for longer than you need to. The 'plush', or 'pillowtop' layer of your mattress needs to work with the core of your mattress in order to give you the best support and comfort available. Latex has been proven to be the best solution, especially a topper made of natural latex. A mattress that offers a combination of a natural latex core, a latex topper, and a surface composed of wool and cotton are completely environmentally friendly, and provide you with hypoallergenic comfort.

Traditional inner-spring mattresses are often composed of many different coil arrangements and consistencies, designed to effectively distribute the weight of the body. All of these coils will eventually lose their resiliency, which makes the entire mattress sag and offer your body absolutely no support or weight distribution. While memory form and latex rubber mattresses can keep their form for twenty years or more, the inner-spring type of mattress generally starts to fall apart well before this time.

Latex toppers can give you an affordable cost at much less than the cost of a full latex mattress. This topper will adjust itself to your body's form and weight, and give your bed an upper layer of two or three inches that will not be affected by mold or mildew, dust mites or allergens. There's no other natural substance that can provide your more sleeping comfort than latex. With a latex mattress core and a latex mattress topper, you can't possibly find a better mattress, or one that will last nearly as long.
